Meet the Host
Dr. Pedro is Vice President, Medical Director of Vyaire Medical in Illinois. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist and previously was the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Revolutionary Medical Devices, which focused on breathing solutions and Vyaire acquired in 2017. A graduate of Brown University, he earned his medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology, including serving as chief resident, at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the New York State Society of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Stringer is professor of medicine and the Division Chief of Respiratory and Critical Care, Physiology and Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He also is the Medical Director of the Chronic Diseases Clinical Research Center of the Los Angeles BioMedical Institute (LABIOMED) at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. An undergraduate and School of Medicine graduate of the University of California, San Diego, he completed his internal medicine internship, residency, including as chief resident, and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society and California Thoracic Society, and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and American College of Physicians.
