Get hands on training on the 3100A and 3100B ventilators. This comprehensive training program on the 3100 oscillatory ventilators for biomedical personnel covers application, testing and troubleshooting. In conjunction with the parts-only contract, it can provide a fixed-cost alternative to a full-service contract. Limited class sizes allow plenty of time with the equipment.

General Information

Time

Classes are four days long and held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dress code

Vyaire dress policy is business casual. Jeans are acceptable, but no shorts or open-toe shoes.​

Training location

Vyaire Training Center

The class will be held in the training center located at Vyaire Medical, 26125 North Riverwoods Blvd., Mettawa, IL 60045. Class hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. including the final day. The training sessions will provide lectures and labs that are applicable to your instrument purchase.  Materials are provided and are the participant’s responsibility to take with them when the class is complete, please plan accordingly.

Each course concludes with a timed written and/or practical exam. Seminar participants must attain a score of 80% or higher to complete the course and attain the Vyaire Medical authorization to perform maintenance and service certification. Exams will not be given earlier or allowed to be taken remotely. 

*Successful completion of this course allows the person who attended the course to work on the instrument listed above. Vyaire does not offer or allow a train the trainer concept and will not recognize individuals as factory trained if they have not attended and passed a Vyaire conducted/approved course.

Audio and/or video recordings are not permitted in the classroom.

Please plan to arrive in the front lobby no earlier than 8:45 am unless instructed otherwise by your instructor. Our corporate facility is access badge controlled and students should report to the main lobby and will be issued a visitor badge once checked into class.

Airline reservation
Vyaire Medical is located 20 miles from Chicago O’Hare Airport. Book flight times to accommodate a 30-45-minute commute to the Vyaire training facility.   

Transporation
Chicago O’Hare airport has access to rental car services or Lyft, Uber and other public transportation is available.  

Meals, lunches, and refreshments
Lunches are provided and included as part of tuition fees. There will also be light snacks and beverages available and included in your tuition served in the training lounge area. Additional food and beverage are available in the café area for a fee. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions that are health-related, please inform the training coordinator 1 week prior to class at antoinette.slater@vyaire.com.

Other activities
The training coordinator can provide a list of activities and or eateries in the area upon request. Going into the city is an option, please plan for a one-hour commute to downtown Chicago. Train information available upon request.
